Badger Meter

Badger Meter has been a leading manufacturer of flow measurement and control products worldwide since 1905. Initially formed to serve the utility markets, Badger has expanded to provide products to the industrial marketplace. Industries served include: petroleum, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, process waters, and concrete. Operating out of facilities in Milwaukee, WI and Tulsa, OK Badger's meter offerings include nutating disc, oscillating piston, oval gear lubrication, turbine (turbo), and electromagnetic.

The nutating disc meter combines the accuracy of positive displacement design with the reliability and economy of Badger's nutating disc technology. Available in either bronze or thermoplastic bodies in sizes from ½" to 2" the disc meter is ideal for cold or hot water, oils, fuels, and alcohols. Additionally, Badger offers a wide variety of totalizers (local and remote), rate indicators, pulse outputs, 4-20mA outputs, registers, and batch controllers factory installed and calibrated.
For both chemical and sanitary applications Badger offers the Industrial Oscillating Piston Meter. Like the disc meter the OP meter offers the accuracy and repeatability of a positive displacement design but with a 316SS housing. It is available in ½", 1", and 2" with either standard flanged or 3-A approved sanitary Tri-Clamp connections. And, as with the disc meter, it is available with a variety of registers, signal transmitters, and batch controllers.
When the application turns to higher flow rates and larger pipe sizes Badger offers the Turbo series of Turbine meters. The Recordall Turbo Meter offers sizes from 1 ½" up to 20" with flow ranges to almost 20,000GPM for cold water. This meter, available with either a non-resettable totalizer or a pulse output, is constructed of either bronze or cast iron and includes the option of an internal strainer. The Industrial Turbo Meter, in sizes from 2" to 6", handles a wider range of fluids including hot water and most chemical or industrial fluid applications. With body materials of bronze, cast iron, or 316SS the Industrial Turbo offers a much wider range of accessories than the Recordall. Like the disc and OP meters, it is available with factory installed and calibrated totalizers (local and remote), rate indicators, pulse outputs, 4-20mA outputs, registers, and batch controllers.
For all conductive fluids, Badger offers the Magnetoflow Mag Meter. This meter is available in wafer, flanged, or sanitary constructions with either the Primo electronics or the 7500P transmitter. Commonly used for batching applications in concrete plants, the 7500P offers a scaled pulse output in a Nema 4 enclosure. In either remote or meter mount configurations the Primo amplifier offers microprocessor based signal processing with both digital and analog outputs plus a 4 line x 16 character back-lit LCD display offering accuracy of +/- 0.25% and repeatability of <0.1%.
