Standard products include electronic pressure regulators (I/P & E/P transducers), precision air regulators, and frictionless rolling diaphragm air cylinders. Beyond standard products, ControlAir offers the ability to manufacture custom products to meet your unique requirements.

I/P & E/P Transducers: ControlAir's electropneumatic transducers convert a current or voltage signal to a linearly proportional output pressure. With input signals of 4-20mA or 0-5V these transducers are available in both low and high output ranges, 3-35 psig and 3-145 psig. The type 500X units provide high reliability and repeatability at an economical cost. Additional features of the 500X include an integral volume booster and an optional Nema 4X enclosure.

Designed for increased reliability in harsh environments, the 900X series incorporates high accuracy and a Nema 4X enclosure into a compact, vibration and position insensitive package. For explosion proof environments, the new 950XP offers FM, CSA, and Cenelec approval.

Precision Air Regulators: For the highest level of regulation accuracy, the ControlAir precision regulators offer control of output pressure to .01 psig. Utilizing a stainless steel measuring capsule as a sensing element to activate the high gain servo balanced control mechanism allows for greater accuracy and eliminates many of the problems associated with conventional regulators using springs or diaphragms.

Models available include integral filter/regulators, stainless steel filter/regulators, high flow pressure regulators, backpressure regulators, and subminiature precision air pressure regulators.

Air Cylinders: Providing a virtually frictionless conversion of pneumatic pressure to linear force, the ControlAir rolling diaphragm air cylinders are the perfect fit for many applications. Features include high sensitivity, no required lubrication, low hysteresis, no blow by leakage, and wide temperature variations.

Available with an effective area up to 36 sq. inches they are available as single acting (spring return) and double acting. Typical applications include web tensioners, dancer roll tensioners, roll loaders, valve actuators, accumulators, positioners, and impact absorbers.
