Mid-West Instrument

Founded in 1958, Mid-West Instrument is one of the leading designers and manufactures of differential pressure gauges and switches in the U.S. Products offered by Mid-West Instrument include differential pressure gauges and switches, DELTA-TUBE pitot tubes, portable flow measurement and backflow prevention device test kits, and pulsation snubbers and pressure limiting valves. All products manufactured by Mid-West Instrument are produced in the United States and backed by a five-year warranty.

Mid-West Instrument carries a variety of pressure gauges. The main types of gauges produced are the Bourbon Tube, bellows, piston, and diaphragm.

Diaphragm/bellows differential pressure gauges provide a simple, compact and accurate way to indicate pressure at low ranges. Working pressure on diaphragm/bellows gauges range from 500 to 6000 psig with over-range protection. Differential pressure ranges are from 0-10" H2O to 0-400" H2O. These gauges are available in Aluminum, Brass, Carbon Steel, or 316 Stainless Steel housings. The diaphragm/bellows are available in Copper-Alloy, Stainless Steel and a wide variety of elastomers. Enclosures on specific models include a cast aluminum explosion proof housing or cast aluminum with plastic bezel weatherproof housing.
The Bourbon Tube gauge also provides a simple, compact and accurate means of measurement with protection against over-range pressure by a bi-directional relief valve. Rated working pressure on the Bourbon Tube gauges range from 1500 to 6000 psig with a differential ranging from 0-15 psid to 0-6000 psid. Bourbon Tube gauges are available in Aluminum, Brass, or Carbon Steel with Copper Alloy or Stainless Steel internals. Bourbon Tube gauges are also available with 316 stainless steel housings and internals. As with the diaphragm/bellows gauge, the Bourbon Tube gauge is also available in a weather or explosion proof housings.
Mid-West Instrument's piston-type gauges are separated into three types according to functions. The model 120 is a medium range differential pressure gauge with a working pressure of 6000 psig and a differential pressure range of 0-5 psid to 0-100 psid. Model 120 piston gauge is available with a Aluminum or 316 Stainless Steel housing and 316 Stainless Steel internals. Special enclosures include a weatherproof non-corrosive plastic or explosion proof housing.
Mid-West Instrument's model 130 is a low range differential press gauge with a working pressure of 300 psig and 500 psig. Differential pressure for model 130 ranges from 0-5" H2O to 0-400" H2O. It is available in Plastic, Aluminum, Brass, 316 Stainless Steel, or Hastelloy C housings with a 316 Stainless Steel or Hasteloy C and Elastomer diaphragm. Special enclosures include a weatherproof or explosion proof housing.
Model 140 is a combination of low and medium range differential pressure gauges. Working pressure on this gauge is 1500 psig to 3000 psig with a differential pressure range of 0-50" H2O to 0-100 psid. It is available in Aluminum, Brass, or 316 Stainless Steel with a 316 Stainless Steel and Elastomer diaphragm. Special enclosures include a weatherproof or explosion proof housing.
